There are three different categories that Topgolf games can fall into. 1.) Team 2.) Competition & 3.) Practice. Here is an overview of some games you can play at Topgolf:

A quick overview of each game
Team
- Sonic the Hedgehog ~ A fast-paced game where Sonic and his friends explore their world; collecting rings and points along the way.
- Angry Birds ~ Golf balls turn into Angry Birds. You aim to virtually smash down structures and defeat the pigs to earn points and stars.
- TopScramble ~ This is a team based game. The further the shots go and the closer to the middle of the targets the more points you can earn.
Competition
- TopScore ~ Similar to TopScramble but it is higher scoring and offers more points for further shots along with more accurate shots.
- TopChip ~ You are assigned different targets and receive points when you hit inside the correct target(s). If you hit inside the wrong target(s) then you are deducted points.
- TopDrive ~ This game focuses mainly on long-distance accuracy. Hit the most amount of targets with the least amount of balls to win.
- TopPressure ~ Accuracy-focused, your objective is hitting the same target and if you get it within the same specific section you will lose points.
- Topshot Rookie/Advanced ~ You are given four consecutive targets to hit. Points are awarded for hitting balls into designated targets.
- Virtual Courses ~ This game allows you to play famous golf courses around the world. Choose your course and play as if you are on a real golf course.
- Quick 9 ~ It challenges players to hit three Targets three times, each time earning points based on proximity to the center. The final shot at each target is double points.
Practice
- TopPractice/Practice Mode ~ Mainly used for fun. It is basically the same as a driving range with increased data about each shot.
- Block Party ~ The entire field is fair game with points. There are different opportunities to score and it is less pressure-filled.
Team Games
Angry Birds: Look at the TV and you will see a tower of pigs. At the base of the tower you will see different colored circles, if you look into the outfield you will see different colored circles on the ground. They match with the ones on the TV, it provides you with a little guide for hitting the golf ball. This is my favorite game, I think it provides everyone with the most fun and you can choose different levels of difficulty to make it more competitive between more and less experienced players.
Sonic the Hedgehog: Fast-paced and where you join Sonic and his friends. You are exploring their home named Green Hill Zone, your objective is to crush golf balls, collect rings and earn points along the way. It offers a fun and high-energy environment for all the players involved.
TopScramble: A great team-based game where players take turns hitting shots towards a target. It is great for creating a level playing field for all skill levels. The best score from each team’s ball will contribute to the overall score. Whoever scores the most points wins.
Competition Games
TopScore: This is a high scoring game. Combining distance with accuracy is important in this game. The further out targets have the best points value and if you can hit it to the very back net then you are rewarded with a lot of points.
TopChip: A game that will help you with your short chips or wedge shots more than other games. When you start the game it will give you a series of targets to hit toward (generally red, yellow and green) When you hit the correct target you will be given points. The closer to the center of the green the more points. Hitting the wrong target, for example (hitting green instead of red will deduct points from your score).
TopDrive: This game is basically the opposite of TopChip. You are rewarded with hitting the ball far and accurately. At the back of the net there are slots that your ball can roll into that is worth a lot of points.
TopPressure: Accuracy focused. You are challenged to hit nine different sections within one colored target (yellow for example). The more sections you hit the higher your points are but if you hit the same section twice then you are deducted points.
Topshot Rookie/Advanced: Each player will be given 20 balls. They will be given four different targets. You will then hit five balls to each target. The further out the targets go the higher the points get.
Virtual Courses: Solely used to experience some of the greatest golf courses in the world. If you have ever been to a golf simulator it is basically the same thing. You can choose a golf course to play, look at the TV for how the hole is and then choose the correct club and hit your shot.
Quick 9: This game is closely related to TopPressure. You are given three targets and nine balls. You will hit three shots to each target and the final ball to each target is worth extra points. It is a great game for people who are looking to practice their golf game and play competitively with friends or family.
Practice Games
TopPractice/Practice Mode: A more relaxed “game” that you can play. It is basically the same as a driving range. You can practice hitting toward different targets while receiving high tech data about each shot.
Block Party: Similar to the Practice Mode, Block party allows you to hit different shots with no pressure for competition. There are optional targets that you can aim for and there are different point-based incentives spread throughout the game. A great option for friends and family who are at Topgolf to have a good time.
